berburu buku baru


Yah maksudku bukan buku yang betul-betul baru terbit, mungkin saja itu buku lama, tapi baru dalam arti aku baru baca.

Terus terang, saat ini aku sedang tertarik belajar lebih lanjut tentang teknologi dan struktur kayu, tetapi terus terang bukan seperti yang biasa dijumpai di sini, aku pengin yang dari luar negeri. Maklum, aku merasa rekayasa kayu di sini masih terlihat kurang mantap, khususnya dalam hal publikasinya. Mungkin saja sudah ada ahlinya, tetapi karena masih susah atau jarang dijumpai karya-karya tulisnya maka jelas aku belum dapat melihat kemantaban yang dihasilkan dari ilmunya. Oleh karena itulah aku mencoba mencari ebook buku-buku kayu dari luar.

Syukurlah, internet kecepatan tinggi yang aku gunakan, yaitu Fasnet Broadband sangat membantu. Apa saja memang terdapat di internet, dari hal-hal yang selalu dibicarakan oleh menkoinfo, dan memang yang kelihatannya paling banyak dicari via google, sampai juga hal-hal lain yang menarik bagiku, seperti buku-buku di atas. Ini adalah daftar buku-buku struktur kayu yang telah berhasil aku down-load, aku tampilkan lagi link-nya, siapa tahu pembaca blog ini tertarik.

    struktur berbasis material organik sangat sulit menentukan kapasitas kekuatannya, butuh banyak pendekatan, eksperimen dan insting insinyur yg tajem.. sangat cocok buat para senior 🙂
    tapi saya tertarik juga dgn penggunaan kayu LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) menggabungkan kayu mutu tinggi dgn mutu rendah, harusnya jatuh harganya bisa murah, dan menghemat penggunaan kayu mutu tinggi (yg masa tanamnya relatif lebih lama), cuman karena bahan perekat nya msh impor dan teknologi perekatannya pun masih ‘punya orang’ jadilah harganya masih mahal, jelas kita masih lebih memilih kayu yg kuat beneran 🙂
